Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Processing funding activities such as obtaining bank/syndicated loans, issuing debt securities, or establishing partnerships with multilateral institutions.
  • Analyzing covenants related to funding activities and reporting on them periodically.
  • Processing corporate and instrument ratings from rating agencies.
  • Managing strategic relationships with financial partners (banks, investors, multilateral institutions, rating agencies, and other supporting professionals).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in finance, management, accounting, economics, engineering, or other relevant analytical disciplines. A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial markets, corporate finance, treasury, investment analysis, or corporate funding activities.

Technical and Analytical Skills

  • Proficient in preparing well-structured analyses and presentations for management decision-making using Excel, PowerPoint, or comparable tools.
  • In-depth understanding of corporate finance and funding sources, such as bond/sukuk issuance and banking facilities.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience working with financial data, market information, and quantitative assessments.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Able to convey financial analyses and recommendations clearly, both in writing and verbally. Comfortable engaging with banks, investors, rating agencies, and other financial partners in a professional environment.
  • Ability to interpret market developments and provide insights relevant to internal planning and investor communication.

Financial and Market Knowledge

  • Good understanding of corporate finance processes, including capital-raising considerations and financial structuring. Prior involvement in transactions is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of financial market mechanics, funding instruments, and corporate valuation principles.
