Job Description

• Develop, maintain, deploy, and improve backend systems and REST APIs.
• Responsible for deployment across all clients using the maintained system, with various possible deployment types, including on-premise and cloud deployment.
• Responsible for managing data and data flow within the company's in-house systems.
• Ensure that backend systems, APIs, and system integrations run properly, reliably, and securely.
• Develop automation and workflows using n8n and scripting.
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, Leads, and other divisions that require backend support.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and improvements on existing systems.
• Support the implementation of AI/LLM into the company's systems when required.
• Be available for urgent support in case of system downtime or critical system issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Proficient in Python.
• Strong understanding of backend development, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, and system integration.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams.
• Certifications related to Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco Networking, or Palo Alto Networks are preferred.

Tech Stack

Python, Flask, Django, REST API/Swagger, Redis, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Docker, Docker Compose, Nginx, Linux/Ubuntu Server, GCP, AWS, BytePlus, OAuth/OAuth 2.0, API Authentication & Authorization, n8n, and Python automation scripting.

Preferred knowledge in AI/LLM tools and concepts such as Basic Machine Learning, LLM fundamentals, OpenAI API, Gemini API, RAG, and LangChain.
