Responsibilities
Video Editor (Full-Time)
- Lead the end-to-end video editing process for social media content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other digital channels, ensuring high visual quality and strong audience retention.
- Own the post-production direction of videos, including pacing, storytelling flow, transitions, sound design, colour grading, captions, and formatting optimised for each platform.
- Translate creative briefs into high-performing social-first edits, applying current trends while maintaining strong brand consistency for each client.
- Collaborate closely with content strategists, social media managers, and videographers to refine concepts and elevate raw footage into engaging final outputs.
- Maintain and evolve editing templates, workflows, and style guides to improve consistency and turnaround time across projects.
- Stay up to date with platform trends, editing styles, and algorithm shifts, proactively suggesting improvements to increase content performance.
- A strong command of both spoken and written English is required for this role.
Requirements
Key Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably within social media, digital agencies, or content-driven brands.
Strong proficiency in editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, CapCut (or equivalent).
Deep understanding of short-form video storytelling, retention hooks, pacing, and platform-specific formats.
Strong eye for visual aesthetics, sound design, rhythm, and motion, with attention to detail.
Experience working with UGC, influencer content, and branded social campaigns is a strong plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
