Role Overview

The Full-Stack Software Developer owns all user-facing surfaces of Aetosky's Multi-INT Fusion Platform - from an Executive Early Warning dashboard for non-technical decision-makers to a deep-dive Analyst triage interface for intelligence professionals. This role builds the backend REST APIs, real-time cost-monitoring views, and frontend experiences that turn a cascading data pipeline into a showcase-ready intelligence product. AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) is the standard workflow - not optional - and will be directly assessed during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Build the Executive Early Warning dashboard: trending entities, anomaly alerts, and volume trends presented in a clean visual interface readable by a non-technical stakeholder within 60 seconds.

• Build the Analyst triage interface: cluster centroid views, bot-detection filter toggles, anomaly score sorting, manual deep-processing triggers, and mass-approve/mass-quarantine actions.

• Design and implement backend REST APIs with authentication and role-based access control, connecting both user interfaces to the data pipeline.

• Build a real-time cost-monitoring dashboard tracking AI inference spend versus allocated budget, with configurable alert thresholds.

• Define and maintain API contracts between the frontend and the data/NLP pipeline, ensuring clean separation of concerns for modular scaling.

Integration & Architecture Responsibilities

• Implement and validate the OSINT-to-Analysis data contract for downstream Multi-INT integration.

• Collaborate with the Data & NLP/AI Engineer on data schema design and query optimization for large-volume intelligence datasets.

• Ensure both interfaces clearly label data provenance and processing status (e.g., unresolved entities where full cross-referencing has not been applied).

Quality & Delivery Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end stress testing with live data streams, validating graceful degradation under simulated surge conditions.

• Use AI-assisted tools for test generation, debugging, and documentation - targeting 80%+ code coverage with minimal manual test-writing time.

• Contribute to sprint planning, technical decision-making, and architecture reviews within a small, high-ownership team.

Classifications / Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years in full-stack software development.

• Demonstrated daily proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) - this will be assessed in the technical evaluation.

• Strong frontend skills: React, Vue, or equivalent modern framework with experience building data-heavy dashboards and charting libraries.

• Strong backend skills: Python (FastAPI/Django), Node.js, or Go with experience designing REST APIs, authentication, and role-based access control.

• Proficient with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases; ability to write performant queries on large datasets.

• Clear communication and ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving team.

Preferred

• Experience with real-time data visualization (WebSockets, server-sent events).

• Previous work on government or defense user interfaces (accessibility standards, low-bandwidth optimization).

• Strong UI/UX instincts for data-dense, analyst-oriented applications.

• Exposure to intelligence, geopolitical risk, or OSINT tooling.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
