We are looking for a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) to join our upcoming production. As the DIT, you will be responsible for ensuring that all footage from our Sony camera system is securely managed, properly color-tested, and ready for post-production.
Responsibilities
- Offload, backup, organize, and rename shooting footage on location
- Ensure file structures are compatible and easily accessible in Windows-based workflows.
- Perform quality control checks: verify exposure, focus, and consistency across shots.
- Apply and test LUTs, perform quick color grading previews for the DoP and director.
- Prepare and deliver proxy
- Maintain accurate metadata, file naming, and backup logs.
- Provide on-set technical support for 2 days of shooting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DIT or in camera/post-production workflows.
- Strong familiarity with Sony cinema cameras (FS, FX, Venice, Alpha series, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools for look management & test grading.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to safeguard critical footage.
- Availability to be physically present on set for 2 full shooting days.
