Develop and formulate bakery, pastry, and chocolate applications using palm oilbased products (shortening, margarine, specialty fats) to meet customer and market needs.
Conduct product trials, benchmarking, and sensory evaluations to ensure optimal functionality, taste, texture, and performance.
Support customer technical visits, product demonstrations, exhibitions, roadshows, and monthly promotional events.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure product performance aligns with manufacturing capabilities and market requirements.
Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting support to customers regarding product applications.
Monitor market trends and competitor products to recommend innovation and product improvements.
Prepare technical reports, standard recipes, and documentation for internal and external use.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Food Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in bakery, pastry, chocolate, or food application development, preferably within palm oil, fats & oils, or food manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of functionality of palm-based ingredients (shortening, margarine, specialty fats) in various applications.
Hands-on experience in product development, application trials, and sensory evaluation.
Experienced in handling customer demos, exhibitions, and technical presentations.
Good analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and understanding of food manufacturing processes.
Strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively across functions.
Must have ability to speak both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Willing to be placed in Marunda and travel for customer visits/events when required.
