Role Overview
FP&A and Corporate Development Manager will lead our Financial Planning and Analysis function responsible for all planning processes, including annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range business plans, and financial reporting to stakeholders of the Group. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in building and growing teams. The role will drive strategic analysis in a cross-functional, matrixed organization across multiple product lines and locations. The right candidate will drive business insights and continuous improvement, bring a quantitative, data-driven mindset, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge to develop and manage the region wide annual budgeting and forecasting processes including timeline, meetings, quality reviews and reporting
- Evaluate business and reporting processes to drive efficiencies; drive continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices
- Create and maintain useful reports and analysis tools to support business initiatives and decision making leveraging available tools
- Manage region wide reporting processes including monthly forecast calendars, executive presentations, business reviews and general reporting communications including analysis of key performance indicators, trends and areas of concern.
- Perform quality reviews and analyses of financial results and forecasts
- Work closely with marketing to critically evaluate scope, risks and potential returns of new projects and initiatives including analysis of gross margins, takeaway rates, preparation of ROI analysis, CAC, project prioritization and monitoring of capital budgets
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to top management and review of financials from subsidiaries.
- Lead FP&A team including holding regular FP&A meetings to update the team on performance, projects, finance systems and other areas of finance and be a resource for local finance teams
- Establish FP&A team objectives to align with company goals and evaluate performance against established KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar
- At least 4 years in FP&A or similar financial roles. Preferred candidate is a self-starter, who has been involved in building an FP&A function before, preferably at a startup or growth stage company
- Big 4 advisory / banking experience combined with start-up experience preferred Possess advanced knowledge and experience with financial accounting, corporate finance and business intelligence systems as well as advanced skills in financial modeling
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to articulate complex financial concepts
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills; good business acumen and ability to identify data anomalies, trends or deviations and introduce strategies for improvement
- Client service oriented and fosters positive working relationships with a partnering approach
- Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail; follows through on multiple projects and juggles conflicting priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment; sets and meets deadlines
- Experience in collaborating with a team of colleagues; can effectively delegate, coach and leverage resources Leads by example, demonstrates strong work ethic, has initiative and is a self-starter. Skilled in conflict resolution and problem solving, a creative thinker
