About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Director to lead the overall financial management of our company in Indonesia. This role will be responsible for formulating and implementing financial strategies, building and managing the finance team, optimizing the financial system, and ensuring all financial activities comply with Indonesian laws, regulations and cultural norms. You will be a core member of the management team, providing professional financial support for major business decisions, promoting the integration of finance and business, and driving the company to achieve its financial goals in the Indonesian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall plan and implement the company's financial strategic planning, be responsible for the establishment, management and empowerment of the finance team, lead the optimization and upgrading of the financial system, and ensure the efficient and compliant operation of financial work in line with Indonesian financial supervision requirements.
- Be responsible for the core financial work of the entire company, including accounting, tax management, fund management, budget management and cost control. Ensure that financial data is true, accurate and timely, and provide professional financial support for management decisions.
- Deeply connect with the business side, optimize financial processes combined with local Indonesian financial regulatory policies and industry characteristics, prevent financial risks, promote the in-depth integration of finance and business, and support the high-quality development of the business.
- Be responsible for internal and external financial coordination, maintain good relationships with local Indonesian tax authorities, audit institutions, banks and other relevant organizations. Ensure that the company's financial activities fully comply with Indonesian laws, regulations and industry supervision requirements, conduct reasonable tax planning in accordance with local tax policies, and reduce tax costs.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and operational analysis reports. Accurately present the company's financial position, operating results and cash flow, and put forward targeted optimization suggestions.
- Participate in the company's major operational decisions, investment and financing projects and strategic planning, provide professional judgments and support from a financial perspective, and promote the achievement of the company's financial goals in Indonesia.
Requirements
Core Experience Requirements (Meet any of the following directions)
- Direction 1: Have experience as a financial leader in top Indonesian Microfinance (MF), Consumer Finance or financial industry. If you are a financial leader in the MF field, you must ensure that the company's business includes an online business segment and be familiar with the financial control logic of online financial business in Indonesia.
- Direction 2: Have experience as a financial leader in the Digital Banking field, benchmarking well-known digital banks such as Sea (Monee) and Neo. Possess similar senior Finance Director level experience, proficient in the entire process of Accounting and Tax management, and have comprehensive financial control capabilities.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related majors. Candidates with professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
- Language: Fluent in English, which can be used as the working language (no obstacles in listening, speaking, reading and writing) to skillfully handle internal and external English communication scenarios. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred, and candidates with Chinese-Indonesian bilingual communication ability will be given extra points.
- Ability: Possess excellent financial strategic thinking, team management ability, cross-departmental collaboration ability and problem-solving ability. Familiar with Indonesian local accounting standards, tax policies and financial regulatory requirements, and able to independently deal with complex financial scenarios in Indonesia.
- Quality: Possess a high sense of responsibility, rigorous work attitude and good professional ethics, strong ability to work under pressure, able to adapt to the local working environment in Indonesia and recognize the company's corporate culture.
