About The Role
Our client, a leading and fast-growing consulting services company, is hiring a Financial Controller to support its growth and expansion plan. This role will be a key member of the management team, acting as a finance business partner and overseeing end-to-end finance, accounting, tax, treasury, and reporting functions while strengthening policies, SOPs, and governance.
Job Description
Lead statutory financial accounting, tax management, treasury, budgeting, and management reporting.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
Act as finance business partner to management, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Manage and develop a lean finance team; build strong cross-functional collaboration.
Liaise with external parties (auditors, tax consultants, banks) and, when required, support client-related finance matters.
Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA is a strong advantage).
Minimum 810 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and tax.
Background as ex-auditor from reputable audit firm with exposure beyond pure audit.
Experience In Consulting, Professional Services, Or Service-based Companies Preferred.
Strong understanding of statutory reporting, tax, treasury, and management reporting.
Strong communication, people management, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in a lean organization and hands-on environment.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
