The finance manager plays a pivotal strategic role in managing, overseeing, and developing all corporate financial functions. This position ensures financial integrity, accuracy, compliance, and sustainable business growth. Beyond traditional accounting and reporting, the finance manager serves as a key business partner to management, providing data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Manage all corporate financial transactions with high precision and in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
  • Oversee and streamline the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial data and general ledgers and perform regular financial reconciliations.

Accounting, Tax & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and prevailing financial regulations.
  • Supervise tax processes, including calculations, reporting, and timely payments.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure sound financial governance.

Business Analysis & Strategy

  • Provide high-level financial analysis and strategic insights to drive business growth.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to management regarding budget efficiency, revenue optimization, and cross-departmental decision-making.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process and monitor financial performance against KPIs.

Asset, Inventory & Cash Flow Management

  • Maintain accurate records and oversight of fixed assets and company inventory.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and overall financial health.
  • Effectively oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles.

Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
  • Establish, evaluate, and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and financial workflows to increase efficiency and control.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Professional Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or Master's in Finance is a significant advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations.

Experience & Industry Background

  • Minimum of 57 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Industry Preference: Proven experience in hospitality, F&B, or the wellness industry is a major plus.
  • Strong experience in navigating the fast-paced, high-transaction environment typical of service-oriented businesses.

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
  • Leadership: A proven track record of managing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communication: Exceptional command of English (both written and verbal) and the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
  • Integrity: Unquestionable ethics and a high level of professional confidentiality.
