POSITION INTRODUCTORY:
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting
functions related to the commercial entity, ensuring accurate and comprehensive financial
reporting and analysis.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Oversee the local Company's day-to-day accounting and finance activities, focusing on accurate and timely costing.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivables to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Lead the monthly closing of accounts, ensuring the timely preparation and submission of comprehensive cost reports and analysis.
- Spearhead and coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts related to the commercial entity.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, policies, and internal controls related to the commercial entity.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, legal counsel, bankers, corporate secretaries, and relevant government authorities locally to ensure compliance and address costing- related financial reporting matters.
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent from a reputable university
- Preferably with CA qualification
- More than 8 years of relevant and practical experience in a manufacturing environment
