Responsibilities:
Warehouse Capacity and Expense Planning:
- Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and assess warehouse capacity and operational needs, ensuring that physical storage and operational efficiency are optimized
- Provided financial insights and forecasts to support warehouse expansion decisions, considering cost implications
Good Needed Planning:
- Support in forecasting and planning goods requirements based on historical data, seasonal trends, and future business projections
- Ensure that goods are ordered and delivered in accordance with demand, optimizing cash flow and minimizing excess inventory
New Store Inventory Collection Planning:
- Forecast and monitor stock level and collection for new stores, ensuring that goods are allocated efficiently and having enough time to be received by new stores before opening.
End-to-End Supply Chain Efficiency:
- Oversee the distribution process from the warehouse to retail stores, ensuring operational efficiency and cost control across the entire supply chain
- Ensure effective coordination between warehousing, transportation, and store operations to minimize lead times and reduce costs
- Develop financial strategies to improve logistics efficiency, tracking key metrics such as transportation costs and delivery accuracy
Other Ad-Hoc Analyses as Needed by Management
Requirement:
- Experience required: >3 years of experience as an analyst or related roles, preferably with supply chain/warehousing/logistic background
- Strong in analytical thinking and good in reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reporting, including data visualizations, prior knowledge in warehousing/logistics operations, experience with scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and business case development to support decision-making and strategic planning.
