Job Description

The Business Performance Manager partners with operations and leadership teams to drive cost efficiency, operational effectiveness across departments, control and monitoring then translating to financial performance.

This role bridges company operations by providing performance analysis link to financial insights to support decision making process.

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, Engineering or related field
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, MBA) preferred
  • 510 years of experience in operations finance related roles
  • Strong experience partnering with operational teams
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and financial implications
  • Excellent business partnering and communication abilities
  • Commercial mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QAD, Power BI)
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively

Job Description:

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted operations & finance advisor to functional leaders and management
  • Translate operational KPIs into financial insight
  • Challenge assumptions and recommend improvements to enhance profitability

Operational Performance Management

  • Control and monitor KPIs dashboards for operational performance efficiency
  • Identify cost optimization and improvement opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs
  • Ensure financial governance across operational activities

Reporting & Controls

  • Prepare monthly management reports and operational performance reviews
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with company policies and controls
  • Support audits and compliance activities related to operational and finance
  • Improve reporting processes, systems, and data quality

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Partner with operations leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Analyze operational costs, margins, productivity, and profitability
  • Track financial performance against targets and explain variances
  • Prepare financial models to support operational initiatives and investments

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Drive standardization and automation of financial and operational processes
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to enhance financial systems and tools
  • Support implementation of performance management systems
