Finance Accounting Tax Manager

Role Description The Finance Accounting Tax Manager is a contract, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role oversees daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, preparation and review of financial statements, and monitoring of cash flow and budgeting activities. The Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and reviewing tax computations, tax reporting, and ensuring timely and accurate tax filing in compliance with Indonesian regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing tax planning initiatives, handling tax audits and inquiries, maintaining proper documentation, and coordinating with external advisors and government agencies when needed. The role also involves leading process improvements, supporting internal controls, mentoring team members, and providing financial and tax insights to management to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in tax-focused skills, including Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax knowledge.
• Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, with experience managing tax audits or inquiries.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, Tax Consultant certification) are an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in a finance or accounting management role, preferably within media, insurance, or service-oriented industries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
• Ability to lead and develop a finance and tax team, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency with accounting and tax software, ERP systems, and MS Office (especially Excel), along with good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and working proficiency in English.
