Finance Accounting Tax Manager (Project Based)

PERSOL APACs client, a well-established multinational home appliances company, is currently seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Assistant Manager / Manager for a project-based assignment.

Key Responsibilities

As Accounting & Tax Assistant Manager / Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's finance and tax functions during the project period. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

- Overseeing all taxation-related activities, including tax calculations, reporting, filing, and reconciliation.

- Ensuring full compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and prevailing tax regulations.

- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

- Preparing financial statements, management reports, and tax-related reports in a timely manner.

- Reviewing and reconciling accounting records to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Coordinating with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.

- Supporting statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory compliance activities.

- Identifying and resolving accounting and tax-related issues proactively.

- Providing recommendations to improve accounting and taxation processes and controls.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum several years of relevant experience in Accounting and Tax functions, preferably at Assistant Manager or Manager level.

- Strong hands-on experience in Indonesian taxation, including tax reporting and compliance.

- Solid understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and local tax regulations.

- Experience working with SAP is highly preferred.

- Prior experience within retail, consumer goods, home appliances, FMCG, or related industries will be an advantage.

- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
