Job Summary :
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Accounting & Tax Officer to support our day-to-day finance operations and ensure full compliance with tax regulations, including handling of export-import tax matters, in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role will be responsible for managing tax reporting, financial accuracy, and supporting audits in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. As well as manage, validate, and process trade-related claims from distributors or customers, ensuring accuracy, timely settlement, and proper documentation. This role also supports coordination between finance, sales, and trade marketing to ensure smooth claim tracking and dispute resolution.
Responsibility :
- Receive, review, and verify trade claims from distributors, modern trade accounts, or internal sales teams
- Review and verify claims related to promotions (discounts, bundled programs, display allowances, off-shelf executions), returns, rebates, and other trade marketing initiatives.
- Validate supporting documents (invoices, program approvals, contracts, proof of execution). Ensure claims comply with company policy, commercial agreements, and internal controls.
- Liaise with sales and trade marketing for claim approvals or discrepancies.
- Post approved claims into the accounting system and ensure correct allocation to customer accounts.
- Monitor aging of outstanding claims and escalate invalid or unsupported claims to the relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Prepare monthly claim aging reports a summary of pending/unresolved claims.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax reports (PPN, PPh 21/23/25/4(2), PPh Badan).
- Ensure timely and accurate e-Faktur input/output, e-Bupot, and e-SPT submissions.
- Monitor tax compliance and stay updated with local tax regulations and changes.
- Manage tax compliance related to import and export activities, including: Monitoring and recording Bea Masuk, PPN Impor, PPh 22 Impor, and related duties & coordinating with logistic teams to ensure valid documentation (PIB, invoice, packing list).
- Support monthly closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Liaise with tax consultants and external auditors when required.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax
- 24 years of experience in tax & accounting, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing company.
- 24 years of experience in Account Receivable or Trade Claim Management, preferably in the FMCG or Consumer Goods industry, particularly handling Modern Trade accounts.
- Knowledge of MT business processes and trade structure (e.g., promo mechanics, return policies, distributor vs direct accounts).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Accurate preferred) and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation and export-import regulations as well as reporting systems (Coretax, DJP Online, e-Faktur, e-SPT).
- Familiarity with customs systems (CEISA, PIB, e-Faktur), DJP Online
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation discipline.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with commercial teams.
