What you will do:
Finance Operations
- Process and manage timely invoice payments to vendors.
- Handle client withdrawal requests and deposit with high accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee and execute internal fund transfers between company accounts.
- Ensure all financial transactions are well-documented and comply with accounting standards and applicable regulations.
- Create and monitor operational budgets to ensure efficient fund utilization.
- Monitoring budget vs actual.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with the applicable regulations and company policies.
- Support the Operations team to implement anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential operational risks within financial processes.
- Develop and improve financial operations processes to enhance efficiency and transaction accuracy.
- Provide periodic financial operations updates and analysis to the Head of Finance.
- Coordinate with the technology team to automate and optimize payment and fund transfer systems.
Accounting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Organize and maintain accounting documents, files, and records.
- Ensure all records comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare finance daily reconciliation reports.
- Assist in internal and external audit preparations by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Prepare and reconcile schedules for audit purposes.
What you will need:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software, AML, forex or banking are a plus
- Proven experience in Finance (13 years preferred) preferably in the forex, payment gateway, or banking industry.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong understanding of financial transactions, cash flow management, and financial regulations.
- Experience using digital banking and payment systems (payment gateway).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication for cross-team collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with high integrity in handling financial transactions.
