Finance Accounting Manager

Hi All,

We are currently looking for a Finance Accounting Manager candidate with a manufacturing background and fluency in English, to be placed in Semarang, Central Java.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance
• Min. 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong in tax, cash flow & financial reporting
• Fluent in English (User Expat)
• Textile or export manufacturing experience preferred

Job Description:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, tax and payroll for Semarang factory

2. Oversee general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue & asset accounting, inventory & costing, general ledger, payroll and taxes

3. Manage the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports, including tax and custom filings are completed accurately and on time

4. Maintain proper accounting, tax, payroll and customs records according to relevant laws and regulations

5. Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, processes and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency

6. Ensure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation

7. Ensure that tax and custom filings are fully compliant with relevant laws and regulations

8. Direct internal audits involving review of accounting, tax, custom and system controls

9. Direct annual external audit and any ad hoc tax and custom audits

10. Analyse financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as customers, suppliers or financial institution
