We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and seamless coordination across accounting, AP/AR, treasury, and tax processes. The role will also support system improvements, process optimization, and cross-functional financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Closing & Reporting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Review key balance sheet accounts and ensure proper reconciliations.
- Coordinate with FP&A to ensure alignment between accounting results and financial reporting.
2. Accounting Operations
- Oversee end-to-end accounting processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for operational transactions and new business initiatives.
- Maintain strong accounting documentation and audit trails.
3. AP / AR Governance
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure proper approval flows, document completeness, and vendor payment controls.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in finance operations.
4. Treasury Management
- Oversee daily treasury operations, including payment execution and bank transactions.
- Monitor cash balances and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Coordinate large disbursements and ensure proper approval and documentation.
- Improve visibility and control over company cash flow
5. Tax Compliance Support
- Work closely with the tax team to ensure accurate tax postings and supporting documentation.
- Support preparation of tax-related reconciliations and audits.
6. Internal Control & Governance
- Strengthen internal controls across accounting and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks and implement improvements to financial governance.
7. Systems & Process Improvements
- Work with Tech and Finance teams to improve ERP workflows (e.g., Odoo).
- Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
8. Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor accounting and finance operations staff.
- Set clear priorities, monitor workload, and ensure timely task delivery.
- Develop team capabilities and improve operational discipline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA/CA is a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in audit/accounting and finance operations (AP/AR/Treasury), with at least 5 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of PSAK, GAAP, and/or IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience managing AR, AP, Treasury, and accounting operations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Google Sheets. Odoo would be a preference.
- High attention to detail with strong ownership of data accuracy and deadlines.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
