Job Description

Job Summary

The Retail Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to retail operations, including sales finance, budgeting, payroll control, cost management, financial reporting, and compliance. This role supports business growth by ensuring accurate financial monitoring across retail stores, e-commerce, live streaming sales, and employee payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Prepare annual budget, forecast, and financial planning for retail operations
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales performance
  • Analyze revenue, margin, and operational costs
  • Provide financial insights to support management decisions
2. Retail Sales Finance Control
  • Monitor store / online / live stream sales transactions
  • Ensure accuracy of sales reports from POS, marketplace, and live platforms
  • Control discount, promotion, and campaign budget usage
  • Review commission, incentive, and host / live stream payments
3. Payroll & Compensation Control
  • Oversee monthly payroll calculation for retail, warehouse, and office employees
  • Ensure accuracy of salary, overtime, incentives, commissions, and allowances
  • Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, leave, and employee data
  • Review payroll reports before payment approval
  • Ensure payroll compliance with company policy and labor regulation
  • Monitor BPJS, tax (PPh 21), and other employee-related payments
4. Reporting & Financial Closing
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for retail division
  • Ensure timely closing of financial data
  • Coordinate with Accounting for reconciliation
  • Provide management reports to Director / GM / CEO
5. Cost Control & Profitability
  • Monitor operational expenses for stores, online sales, and live streaming
  • Control marketing, campaign, and promotion costs
  • Evaluate profitability per store / channel / product
  • Recommend cost efficiency strategies
6. Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure all financial and payroll processes follow company regulation
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Ensure tax, payroll, and financial compliance
7. Team Management
  • Lead finance / payroll staff related to retail operations
  • Coordinate with HR, Sales, Operations, and Marketing
  • Improve financial and payroll workflow and SOP

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Finance / Accounting / Payroll, preferably in Retail / FMCG / E-commerce
  • Strong knowledge in financial reporting, payroll, and budgeting
  • Experience handling multi-channel sales (store, marketplace, live stream is a plus)
  • Good analytical and leadership skills
  • Familiar with payroll system, ERP, and Excel
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience handling payroll for large number of employees
  • Experience in retail / e-commerce / live commerce company
  • Understanding of Indonesia labor regulation & PPh21
  • Brevet / CPA / Finance certification is a plus
