The Role
Based in Cikarang, Jakarta, this role is responsible for the end-to-end management of a 24/7 mission-critical data center facility, ensuring best-in-class performance, uptime, and service delivery.
You will lead operations across mechanical and electrical systems, drive maintenance strategy, manage vendors and teams, and act as a key interface with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all day-to-day data center operations, ensuring optimal performance of power, cooling, and critical infrastructure systems
- Manage and develop a team of engineers (including third-party vendors), fostering a high-performance, accountable culture
- Ensure full compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and act as the primary escalation point for incidents
- Oversee and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Drive incident management, including root cause analysis and reporting within defined timelines
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure operational readiness of new infrastructure
- Support testing, commissioning, and transition from build to live operations
- Manage facility budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX planning
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) and regulatory standards
- Build strong client relationships, handling queries and delivering exceptional service experience
- Lead vendor performance management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
The Candidate
We are looking for a highly driven, technically strong leader with deep experience in critical facilities or data center environments.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments
- At least 3+ years in a leadership/management role
- Strong expertise in critical infrastructure systems such as UPS, generators, transformers, chillers, CRAH units, fire systems, and power distribution
- Proven experience managing vendors, SLAs, and maintenance programs
- Solid understanding of EHS regulations and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to respond to site emergencies within 30 minutes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting/documentation tools
