Role Overview:
Our client is looking for ETL Testing & ETL Automation Engineers to support large-scale data platform initiatives within the IOH program. This role will focus on data validation, ETL quality assurance, data migration testing, and automation across complex enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigorous ETL testing for data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes across source, staging, and target layers
- Validate source-to-target mappings, complex business rules, and data reconciliation logic using advanced SQL
- Design, develop, and execute ETL automation scripts (Python/Shell) to streamline regression and sanity testing
- Lead data migration testing initiatives, ensuring 100% data completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Partner with Data Engineers and Architects to identify, log, and resolve complex data defects
- Prepare comprehensive test cases, execution reports, and data validation summaries in compliance with QA governance
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- 5–10 years of dedicated experience in ETL / Data Testing
- Exceptional proficiency in writing complex SQL (joins, aggregations, and large-scale reconciliation queries)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
- Strong experience in Data Warehouse / Data Lake testing
- Proven ability to build automation frameworks for data testing using Python or Shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or BigQuery
- Background in the Telecommunications industry or enterprise data domains
- Familiarity with Agile/PI-based delivery and JIRA
