Some of your duties will include:
- Support the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG-related data from various departments.
- Assist in the preparation of ESG reports and documentation based on defined frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ESG policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to promote ESG awareness and support the identification of ESG-related risks.
- Conduct benchmarking and maintain awareness of ESG trends, reporting standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Prepare routine ESG performance summaries and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the coordination of ESG-related audits, assessments, and external disclosures.
- Deliver ESG-related training materials and awareness sessions to relevant departments.
- Supervise and support subordinate ESG, risk and sustainability team members with their tasks.
- Recommend opportunities for improving ESG reporting accuracy and efficiency, including the use of digital tools or automation where appropriate.
- Support the implementation of management systems developed in accordance with the relevant standards, including ISO 9001/14001/31001/45001/50001.
Environmental
- Monitor and report on environmental performance indicators (e.g., emissions, water use, biodiversity impact).
- Collaborate with construction and operations to reduce environmental footprint and promote circular economy practices.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and support mitigation planning.
Social, in collaboration with our Social Impact and External Relations teams
- Engage with local communities to understand needs and support sustainable development programs.
- Coordinate social impact assessments and ensure compliance with AMDAL (Environmental Impact Analysis)
- Support grievance mechanisms and ensure timely resolution of community concerns.
- Promote local employment, capacity building, and inclusive stakeholder engagement
Governance
- Ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations, including ESDM (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources) and OJK (Financial Services Authority) guidelines
- Support ESG reporting and disclosures in line with GRI, SASB, and TCFD frameworks
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to uphold ethical business practices
- Monitor supply chain ESG risks and support responsible sourcing initiatives
What skills and experience do you need
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Mining Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in ESG, sustainability, CSR or related areas, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge in ESG data collection; ability to collect and validate ESG data in alignment with reporting requirements; ability to support the preparation of ESG reports using recognized standards (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD).
- Ability to interpret ESG regulations and integrate them into compliance and operational practices; Proficient in ESG data management tools and platforms; Skilled in preparing ESG reports, conducting ESG benchmarking, and tracking regulatory developments; Capable of delivering ESG awareness materials and supporting training programs; Analytical mindset with strong communication and coordination skills.
- ESG or Sustainability Reporting certification (such as GRI Certified Training) is an advantage; Environmental or compliance-related certifications are desirable;
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
