A leading manufacturing company in Indonesia is looking for a technically driven and detail-oriented Equipment Engineer with a strong mechanical background to ensure manufacturing equipment operates reliably and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define technical specifications for new or replacement production equipment and support Procurement in vendor evaluation.
- Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor equipment performance using KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain equipment documentation, maintenance records, and spare parts lists.
- Manage critical spare parts and coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse for replenishment.
- Support plant layout planning and CAPEX proposals.
- Ensure all equipment changes follow MOC procedures and comply with HSE/K3 regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 57 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in paint, coating, chemical, or process industries is preferred.
- Experience with equipment commissioning and start-up.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and fluid handling systems.
- Familiar with CMMS systems (SAP PM or Maximo preferred).
- Fluent in English, mandarin is a plus.
