Job Purpose:
Integrating, synergizing all function in engineering & maintenance as well as increase machine efficiency to ensure continuity of production and Mill achieve performance target.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control maintenance cost by maximize spare part lifetime through preventive maintenance and modification, spare part substitution and self-manufacturing.
- Control CAPEX budget to ensure efficiency the project execution of new machine installation or existing machine modification cost as per approved budget.
- Plan, implement the main focus of engineering, maintenance & repair strategy covering mechanical, electrical & instrument, project planning & design to support continuity of production.
- Establish objectives, policies, procedures and standards to minimize downtime.
- Ensure planning equipment testing & calibration, modification & installations, equipment trials for modifications, availability of all spare machinery material and manpower to ensure reliability equipment.
- Monitor & ensure excellent engineering & maintenance performance to support machine run-ability and to achieve efficiency targets.
- Monitor time lost due to equipment malfunctions; identify, research, and prepare recommendations on significant changes that need to be made to resources, procedures, systems, equipment, or technology.
- Monitor and ensure safety procedures are implemented in each concerned working area
- Communicates with suppliers, vendors or contractors as required for equipment service, introduction of new technology, etc
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop team of managers and other professionals work together to achieve performance target
- Contribute to strategic planning at top management level
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 12 years exposures to engineering, maintenance jobs, and utility in paper industry
- Deep knowledge of engineering and maintenance of paper machines
- Understand well of each machine characteristic
- Self-updated with the new paper machine technology
- Have a good skill to analyze data for the best decision
- Have a good skill to recommended for solving related to engineering problem
