Savaya Group is looking for an Engineering professional to help maintain the buildings, equipment, systems, and infrastructure across our Bali operations. You will work closely with Housekeeping, Operations, Food and Beverage, Security, and venue leadership to ensure all guest-facing and operational areas remain safe, functional, and well maintained throughout the day.
This is a hands-on role for a reliable and technically capable team member who takes pride in preventative maintenance, responsive repairs, and supporting high standards across busy hospitality and lifestyle venues.

- Maintain guest areas, back-of-house facilities, kitchens, bars, event spaces, pool areas, and operational infrastructure

- Support venue openings, private events, peak periods, and special occasions
- Develop practical experience in hospitality engineering, facilities, and building maintenance

Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing building facilities, fixtures, fittings, and operational equipment
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance across guest areas, back-of-house spaces, kitchens, bars, offices, and event facilities
- Monitoring and maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, air-conditioning, refrigeration, water, and other building systems
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests, equipment faults, leaks, breakdowns, and operational issues
- Supporting the safe operation and maintenance of pools, pumps, filtration systems, outdoor facilities, and venue infrastructure
- Carrying out basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, and general repair work where qualified and authorised
- Inspecting equipment and facilities to identify potential faults, hazards, wear, or deterioration
- Recording completed work, inspections, repairs, and outstanding maintenance requirements accurately
- Reporting major faults, safety concerns, equipment damage, and specialist repair requirements to the relevant manager
- Coordinating with approved contractors and service providers when specialist support is required
- Supporting the safe set-up, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of events and high-volume service periods
- Working with Housekeeping, Operations, Food and Beverage, Security, and venue leadership teams
- Following maintenance schedules, technical procedures, permit requirements, and workplace safety standards
- Using tools, machinery, chemicals, personal protective equipment, and technical equipment correctly and responsibly
- Maintaining engineering workshops, storage areas, tools, spare parts, and equipment in an organised condition
- Supporting energy, water, waste, and resource-saving initiatives across the venues
- Protecting guest privacy and minimising disruption when completing work in guest-facing areas
- Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude while working across operational and guest-facing areas
- Completing other reasonable duties required to support safe and smooth venue operations
- Have you worked in engineering, facilities, maintenance, hotels, resorts, restaurants, beach clubs, commercial buildings, or similar environments
- Do you have practical knowledge of building maintenance, engineering systems, equipment repair, or facilities operations
- Do you take pride in maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented facilities
- Can you diagnose issues, complete repairs, and escalate technical problems appropriately
- Are you comfortable working independently and as part of a multicultural team
- Can you respond calmly and professionally to urgent maintenance and operational requirements
- Do you understand basic workplace safety, electrical safety, chemical handling, manual handling, and maintenance procedures
- Do you hold relevant technical qualifications, licences, or certifications where required for the role
- Are you physically comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and working indoors or outdoors when required
- Can you identify and report hazards, equipment faults, damage, leaks, and maintenance concerns promptly
- Are you reliable, punctual, well organised, and willing to support colleagues during busy periods
- Can you communicate professionally in English or work effectively with an international team
- Are you prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, evenings, on-call periods, or split shifts when required
