Job Role / Job Overview
Electronics Engineer role reports to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities for this role
- Design electronic components, software, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, or scientific applications.
- Design and develop custom robotic solutions to address specific shop floor challenges. Utilize AutoCAD 3D software and simulation tools to model and design. Work out the schematic diagram and Gerber files.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source right components and materials, such as PCBA and IC chips.
- Interface with manufacturing and production for board changes, debugging and testing needs
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of EV charging systems and test equipment.
- Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipment
- Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair
- Analyse customer needs and determine electrical system requirements, capacity, and cost to develop a system plan.
- Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems to improve technical performance.
- Initiate new forward-looking effort on design innovation to achieve better measurements methodology.
- Keep up with industry and familiar with new standard coming up and provide recommendation to upgrade existing equipment/procedure to meet project needs.
- Assist in supporting the daily Engineering Operation in High-speed line
Education & Industry Experience required
- Min. D3 on electrical/electronic, at least 3 years experience.
- Familiar with electrical/ electronic components, wire harness, and so on.
- Familiar with EDA tools such as HFSS, APD and so on.
- Knowledge in signal integrity is preferred.
- Good interpersonal, technical, verbal and written communication skills in English is a must.
- Demonstrated ability the data or result in Microsoft office.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter and with ability to multi-task across several projects simultaneously.
- Experience with programming language and scripting is a plus.
