Position Introductory:
The Electrical & Electronic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electronic systems and equipment. This role ensures that all electrical & electronic components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and test electrical systems and components
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical/electronic and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electronic/electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and wiring.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder Diagrams, electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in the design and modification of electrical systems when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering
- Having Experience 3 – 4 years in Printing industry or similar
- Proven experience as an electrical & electronic technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge with PLCs- Siemens S7, Beckoff, Ladder Diagram, Servo Drives/Motor and automation systems is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
