E-commerce Data Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your eye for detail and familiarity with online shopping could directly improve the AI systems that millions of people use to discover and buy products every day We're looking for E-commerce Data Analysts to review, categorize, and improve product data that powers next-generation AI shopping and recommendation engines.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone who shops online and has a knack for spotting what looks right — and what doesn't. No formal e-commerce or retail background required.

What You'll Do
- Review product listings for accuracy, completeness, and correct categorization
- Evaluate AI-generated product descriptions and recommendation outputs
- Tag and classify products using structured category systems and guidelines
- Identify duplicate, misleading, or low-quality product entries
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI-powered product search and discovery
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Familiar with online shopping platforms and how product categories work
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to tasks
- Comfortable working with structured data and web-based tools
- Strong written communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior e-commerce, retail, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in retail, merchandising, inventory management, or product data
- Background in data entry, quality assurance, or content moderation
- Familiarity with AI tools or e-commerce platforms as an end user
