About the Role
The Operations Leader will oversee the overall business performance, ensure profitability and cost efficiency while leading a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Finance: Lead overall business performance, including top-line sales, full-price business, and key KPI metrics to achieve budget and growth targets. Accountable for the Operations P&L, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency. Oversee budget planning and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives.
- Service: Ensure the Operations team delivers standardized, excellent customer service by designing and implementing long-term training programs tailored to team needs. Monitor and maintain all brands and stores under Navya to consistently represent the brand identity and guidelines.
- People: Lead and manage the Operations team to drive results through effective and efficient workflows. Partner with HR to design performance tracking tools, support career development initiatives, and promote team wellbeing and social welfare.
- Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Merchandising and Marketing teams on merchandise allocation, marketing activities, and overall business plans to achieve budget, targets, and profitability. Provide insights and analyses to anticipate internal challenges and external market dynamics, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Process: Develop, update, and standardize SOPs and operational policies to ensure efficiency and cross-functional collaboration. Establish and implement comprehensive preparation checklists/workflows for store openings, closures, events, promotions, and bazaars to streamline execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- 1015 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a senior operations leadership role within Retail (fashion, footwear, active lifestyle) or FMCG.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, attention to detail, and independent decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
- Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in operational planning and execution.
- Willingness to travel across Indonesia as required.
