About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee daily Distribution Center operations and ensure efficient handling of inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound activities. This role is responsible for leading Distribution Center teams, maintaining operational discipline, and ensuring service level, safety, and accuracy standards are consistently achieved.
What You Will Do
- Supervise and coordinate daily Distribution Center operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure accurate inventory control, stock movement, and system transactions
- Lead, schedule, and monitor Distribution Center staff across shifts to achieve productivity and SLA targets
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and Distribution Center procedures
- Monitor operational KPIs such as OTIF, productivity, inventory accuracy, and shrinkage
- Identify operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, 5S)
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, transport, planning) and external parties if applicable
- Support audits, stock counts, and process improvement projects
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (certifications in related area will be a plus)
- Minimum 58 years of experience in Distribution Center or distribution center operations
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role is required
- Strong knowledge of Distribution Center processes and inventory management
- Experience using WMS / ERP systems
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Having an exposure to 3-PL operated Distribution Center environments
- Knowledge of LEAN, 5S, or continuous improvement practices
- Proven ability with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Willing to work in shifts and under a fast-paced environment
