About Us

English 1 Joglosemar Group is seeking a Director of Studies to join our dedicated management team at English 1 Yogyakarta Casa Grande centre. We are looking for motivated leaders who are not only skilled educators but also committed to fostering collaboration and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

Deliver engaging English lessons to students aged 318, covering both core classes and enrichment activities such as Life Clubs, school visits, and cultural events.

Scheduling

Plan and communicate academic schedules effectively to support sustainable growth.

Training & Mentoring

Dedicate time to mentor and train teachers, using our online training system to strengthen both their academic and professional skills.

Professional Development

Conduct class observations, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with the academic team to design tailored development plans.

Cross-Department Collaboration

Work closely with sales, service, and marketing teams to support smooth center operations and contribute to the ongoing development of the school.

Networking

Build relationships with fellow educators, engage in group-wide collaboration initiatives, and strengthen connections with other centers in our organization.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in any field.

* Minimum C1 level English proficiency (C2 preferred).

* For internal candidates: at least 4 years of experience at English 1, including 2 years as a Senior Teacher or Senior Teaching Manager.

* For external candidates: at least 6 years of full-time teaching experience with some leadership responsibilities.

* Clean criminal background check.

* A 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate (minimum).
