Data Analyst

Role Description

The Data Analyst is responsible for translating data into actionable insights that support business decision-making and performance improvement. This role works closely with stakeholders to analyze business data, develop reports and dashboards, identify trends and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations that contribute to business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data to generate actionable insights that support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for performance monitoring and business evaluation.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis to support business growth and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
• Provide analytical support and recommendations to help achieve business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Reporting, or similar analytical roles.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytical tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or digital business is preferred.
