About The Role
Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise, assisting with product demonstrations, and preparing proposals. This role works closely with senior engineers and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyse problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.
To visit customers and promote Sulzer spare parts sales
To coordinate with Sulzer CSS Industry Sales team and customers and assist to resolve the technical issues and win more parts/product sales.
To analyze the installed base volume and find potential companies to appoint as CSS channel partners at those appropriate regions.
To monitor, manage and support channel partners to enhance the Sulzer parts sales.
To visit customer plants and submit technical and commercial proposals to replace inefficient older pumps for both Sulzer/competitor pumps to maintain sustainable installed base volume.
To approach proactively with customers and submit quotes and technical proposals for parts sales and customer system upgrading using Sulzer Sense system.
To visit customers and promote Sulzer TB seal sales and win orders.
To attend customer complaints at site and resolve the customer complaints
To troubleshoot and resolve the technical issues at the customer site
To carry out installation supervisions and inspections at customer site and give feedback to the customer about possible
To carry out testing and commissioning of the equipment at the customer site
To conduct the customer trainings for installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the equipment
To report to CSS Manager on daily activities and weekly work schedules.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma In Electrical or Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Industry Pumps and various industry process systems would be preferable
- Market/product knowledge in various Industry products application and process would be preferable sales experience would be added an advantage.
- Willing to travel extensively within the country of appointment and other countries as and when required Valid Driving license
