Provides a clear vision and direction for the business, aligning goals with long-term strategy set out by Global and Regional Ground & Rail managements, Business Development, Operations, Procurement, Pricing & Solution Design, Business Process Excellence and Subproduct teams
Oversees daily operations, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and efficiently
Guide subordinates and help cultivate a culture that fosters collaboration, accountability, and innovation while mentoring them to improve, enhance and maintain or exceed performance standards
Oversees the financial and P&L health, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability, including making decisions that drive revenues and control costs
Drive business development and expansion, through entering new markets, launching new products, or pursuing mergers and acquisitions
Ensures that the business adheres to legal and ethical standards, promoting transparent decision-making processes and maintaining compliance with industry regulations
Requirements:
15+ years in logistics and transportation including minimum 5 years of P&L management
Bachelor Degree from recognized university or relevant qualification
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Deep expertise in developing integrated supply chain & logistics solutions relevant in Ground & Rail.
