Corporate Strategy (FP&A) Specialist

The Corporate Strategy Specialist will be responsible for monitoring business performance, ensuring alignment with company goals, and contributing to annual and quarterly strategic planning. The role also focuses on managing the company's cost and budget spending control.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain budget control processes, monitor variances, and provide cost management recommendations.

2. Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

3. Monitor and manage cash flow, develop projections, and implement financial strategies.

4. Oversee financial systems, ensure data accuracy, and optimize reporting tools.

5. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.

6. Collaborate with senior management and department heads to optimize financial planning and performance.

7. Manage external audits, provide necessary documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance.

8. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve financial efficiency.

9. Monitor and assess business unit performance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and strategic priorities.

10. Foster collaboration across departments to align strategic initiatives with overall business objectives and optimize organizational efficiency.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; at least 5 years of experience in financial control, budgeting, or financial planning & analysis.

2. Strong ability to develop, implement, and maintain budget control processes, monitor variances, and provide strategic cost management recommendations.

3. Expertise in preparing and consolidating financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

4. Proven experience in managing cash flow, developing projections, and implementing strategies to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.

5. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools to optimize financial reporting and enhance system integration.

6. Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
