Corporate Legal

Job Description:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and provide legal advice on contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the Company's interests are adequately protected.
• Provide legal support and guidance to business units and management on corporate and operational legal matters.
• Prepare, review, and maintain corporate legal documents, including Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners resolutions, shareholders resolutions, powers of attorney, and other corporate governance documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, legal memoranda, and legal risk assessments to support business decisions.
• Review new products, business initiatives, and transactions from a legal perspective and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Maintain and organise legal documentation, corporate records, licenses, and regulatory filings to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law from a reputable university.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a finance company, bank, or other financial services institution.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Contract Law, Company Law, and applicable regulations in the financial services industry.
• Experienced in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting commercial agreements, legal documents, and corporate documentation.
• Familiar with corporate governance practices, including Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners resolutions, shareholders resolutions, powers of attorney, and other corporate legal matters.
• Capable of conducting legal research, preparing legal opinions, and providing practical legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
