Job Description

We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Corporate Finance practice in Jakarta, Indonesia. Corporate Finance represent a pivotal change in a company's plan for development or expansion, providing organizations with constructive advice throughout the transaction life cycle.

Our services include:

  • Reviewing the acquisition strategy and assessing alternatives
  • Identifying and assessing potential targets/M&A opportunities both locally and internationally
  • Developing the sales strategy and assisting in maximizing returns
  • Deal initiation / target approach / identifying and assessing prospective purchasers
  • Advising and assisting in the drafting of the Disposal Information Memorandum
  • Valuation, deal structuring and negotiations

The successful candidate will be:

  • You will be working on sell-side, buy-side and capital raising deals in all stages of execution
  • You will be actively involved in execution of M&A deals with a Southeast Asian angle, being either for Southeast Asian clients or for global clients with interest in Southeast Asia (SMEs, larger corporates, MNCs and private equity funds).
  • Executing tasks encompassing building financial models, valuation, drafting information memorandums, financial analysis and reviewing due diligence reports
  • Conducting research and market analysis to help assess the impact of market dynamics and the competitive environment
  • Contributing to the delivery and presentation of client deliverables, business development and marketing initiatives
  • You can also look forward to an intensive corporate training (both technical and soft skills), experience across sectors and geographies

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in M&A, Valuations, corporate finance or private equity
  • Strong academic background in Finance or Business with knowledge of accounting and finance concepts
  • Good understanding of M&A and corporate finance
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to understand financial statements and build three statement financial models in Excel
  • Good business and commercial acumen as well as problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and reporting skills in English
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong leadership quality in leading public accounting firm or major commercial firms
