projects end-to-end (PDCA/DMAIC) to reduce defect/scrap rate, optimize cycle time (C/T), improve OEE, and lower unit manufacturing cost.
Conduct value stream mapping, time and motion studies, bottleneck analysis, and line balancing to increase throughput and labor productivity.
Implement and sustain Lean fundamentals: 5S, standard work, visual management; run kaizen events and Gemba workshops.
Reduce changeover times using SMED; partner with Maintenance on TPM actions to increase equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
Analyze production data (OEE, downtime, yield, scrap) using Excel/Power BI; build dashboards, track benefits, and report weekly/monthly results.
Optimize shopfloor layout for flow, ergonomics, WIP control, and space utilization; create/update layouts and work instructions in AutoCAD or similar.
Lead root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone); define and follow through on CAPA with clear owners, timelines, and verification of effectiveness.
Collaborate with Quality on SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and Control Plans; support NPI/ramp-up and process capability improvements (Cp/Cpk).
Train and coach supervisors/operators on Lean tools and standard work; build sustainment mechanisms (audits, scorecards).
Ensure all improvements comply with EHS requirements and local regulations; promote a safety-first culture.
