About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Manager with deep functional and delivery experience in Organizational Management (OM), Payroll (PY) and/or SuccessFactors (Employee Central and related modules). The successful candidate will have led fullcycle SAP HCM implementations in a consulting environment, be client-facing and able to run module design, configuration, testing, cutover and hypercare activities. This role blends handson functional expertise with project leadership, solution design and people management.
What Will You Do
- Lead and deliver fulllifecycle SAP HCM/SuccessFactors implementations (scoping, design, build, test, deploy, hypercare).
- Act as module lead (OM, PY and/or SuccessFactors EC) to translate client HR requirements into robust, scalable SAP/SF solutions.
- Own solution/fitgap workshops, process redesign, configuration decisions and detailed design documentation.
- Manage build/configuration activities and coordinate with integration, ABAP/technical, data migration, security and testing teams.
- Design and lead payroll solution: payroll configuration, wage types, schemas, PCRs/rules, listener handling, offcycle/retro processing, payroll control and reconciliation.
- Design and lead Organizational Management solutions: org structure, position/ job management, reporting relationships, inheritance rules and integrations to other HR processes.
- Lead SuccessFactors implementations or integrations: Employee Central (core HR), MDF, Position Management, ECtoPayroll integrations, Foundation Objects, data models, and security roles.
- Create and manage test strategies (unit, SIT, UAT), lead test coordination and support defect resolution.
- Lead cutover planning and execution; manage data migration strategy and tool usage (LSMW, SAP Data Services, SF Import Tools, etc.).
- Provide golive and hypercare leadership and knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Manage project teams (consultants and analysts), mentoring, staffing, performance and quality reviews.
- Build and maintain client relationships, lead client workshops, present to stakeholders and support business development activities (proposal inputs, estimates, capability presentations).
- Ensure project delivery on scope, timeline, budget and quality metrics.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 8+ years of SAP HCM / SuccessFactors experience in a consulting or client advisory environment (exact years can be tailored to local hiring practice).
- Demonstrated lead experience in at least 2 fulllifecycle SAP HCM or SuccessFactors implementations as module lead or manager.
- Strong functional expertise in one or more of: SAP HCM OM, SAP Payroll (onpremise HCM / ECC or S/4HANA Payroll), SuccessFactors Employee Central and related Talent modules.
- Deep knowledge of core HR processes (organizational design, position management, payroll processing, time and attendance fundamentals, benefits and compensation interactions).
- Handson configuration experience with SAP HCM tables/infotypes, payroll configuration (wage types, schemas, rules), or SuccessFactors EC data models and MDF.
- Experience integrating SuccessFactors with onpremise SAP payroll (or 3rd party payroll) using CPI/SCPI, PI/PO or middleware.
- Proven track record of leading workshops, producing design artifacts (Fit/Gap, FRICEFs, Functional Specs), and guiding endtoend testing and cutover.
- Consulting skills: client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, scoping, estimation and proposal development.
- Team leadership skills: ability to lead, coach and mentor delivery teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications (e.g., Employee Central, EC Payroll) and/or SAP HCM/Payroll certification.
- Experience with S/4HANA HCM migration, Employee Central Payroll or countryspecific payroll requirements.
- Knowledge of integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI/SCPI, HCI) and data migration tools (LSMW, SAP Data Services, SF Import Tools).
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience in specific industries relevant to PwC clients (financial services, manufacturing, public sector, etc.).
- Experience with security/authorization design for HCM and SuccessFactors.
