Job Summary:
The Site Construction Manager is responsible for overall management, coordination, and control of construction activities at the Svara Villas project site. This role ensures the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.
The position acts as the main authority on-site, leading site teams and contractors, coordinating with consultants and internal stakeholders, and ensuring construction execution meets the company's quality and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for Svara Villas.
- Coordinate and supervise site supervisors, engineers, and contractors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for site-related matters.
- Ensure site operations align with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Construction Execution & Control
- Oversee execution of structural and architectural works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review construction methods, sequencing, and work plans.
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or issues.
- Ensure construction quality and workmanship meet company standards.
Contractor & Consultant Coordination
- Manage contractors and subcontractors performance, productivity, and compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants (architect, structural engineer, QS) on technical and site issues.
- Review and validate site instructions, variations, and change requests.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and safety procedures.
- Lead safety briefings, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Ensure quality control systems and inspection processes are implemented on site.
- Enforce use of PPE and safe working practices.
Schedule, Cost & Resource Control
- Monitor construction schedules and manpower planning.
- Coordinate material delivery, site logistics, and equipment usage.
- Work closely with QS and Finance teams to control site costs and variations.
- Support progress claims and construction reporting.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly site progress reports.
- Maintain site records, drawings, and documentation.
- Report risks, delays, and issues to senior management with recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction projects.
- At least 5 years in a Site Construction Manager or Project Manager role.
- Strong background in villa, residential, or hospitality development projects.
- Structure-focused experience (concrete works, foundations, superstructure, architectural coordination) not interior or MEP-led.
Technical Skills:
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and safety standards.
- Experience coordinating QS, planning, and site control functions.

Language:
