ABOUT JOB:
The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle delivery of a largescale electric vehicle (EV) assembly plant construction project in Jakarta. This position is responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams (Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, Utilities, Procurement, HSE, QA/QC), managing contractors, ensuring schedule and cost control, driving technical coordination, and achieving project milestones from design through commissioning and handover.
You will work within a fasttrack industrial environment, collaborating with international consultants, vendors, and stakeholders for a major global EV manufacturing group.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead overall planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of all project phases.
- Manage construction progress, cost, quality, safety, and risk across all workstreams.
- Oversee design coordination, review IFC/shop drawings, and ensure technical compliance.
- Drive daily/weekly coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
2. Schedule & Cost Management
- Develop and oversee master construction schedule, lookahead plans, and milestones.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and progress payment approvals.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
3. Technical Coordination
- Coordinate Civil/Structural/Architectural and MEP packages across all buildings and utilities.
- Ensure alignment between design, procurement, and construction sequences.
- Lead site problemsolving and provide decisions to unblock technical bottlenecks.
4. Contractor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, and key vendors.
- Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and progress reviews.
- Report regularly to management and stakeholders on project KPIs.
5. Quality, HSE & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with international industrial construction standards.
- Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure correct implementation.
- Enforce safety culture and conduct highlevel safety walkdowns.
6. Commissioning & Handover
- Support precommissioning, commissioning, testing, and acceptance for all systems.
- Oversee punch list closure, redline/asbuilt preparation, and final handover documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- 8 15+ years of experience managing largescale industrial/factory construction projects.
- Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple contractor packages.
- Strong understanding of industrial plant engineering, utilities, structural works, and MEP.
- Experience delivering fasttrack projects under tight timelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a multinational environment.
- Strong command of schedule/cost control, risk management, and construction workflows.
- English proficiency required; experience working with international clients/consultants.
- Experience in Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD/Revit, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks, costcontrol tools, and standard project reporting platforms (Power BI/Excel advanced).
