Introduction to the Department:
The commercial team at ADA-ASIA.com is responsible for store operations on Lazada and Shopee, along with other local E-commerce marketplaces. The team works to drive sales and revenue growth by optimizing product listings, managing pricing and promotions, and analyzing sales data.
Job Overview:
The Commercial Director is responsible for leading the Commercial team in driving sales and revenue growth on eCommerce marketplaces, such as Lazada and Shopee, as well as other local eCommerce platforms. The Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase brand visibility, improve customer engagement, and drive sales through data-driven decisions. These strategies need to meet and deliver the growth and profitability for the companys vision of ecommerce. Commercial Directors will also be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including eCommerce marketplaces, vendors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth on eCommerce marketplaces, such as Lazada and Shopee, as well as other local eCommerce platforms
- Ensuring these strategies achieve sales and revenue targets and KPIs
- Analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve customer engagement and increase brand visibility
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including eCommerce marketplaces, vendors, and suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of eCommerce initiatives, meeting the requirement needs of cashflow and profitability for the business
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Commercial team, setting goals and tracking progress against them
- Close collaboration with Head of Capability in providing training materials and support to ensure continuous development of team
- Ensuring the team delivers A+ performance to meet the highest level of marketplace platform certification
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company stays competitive in the eCommerce space.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years&apos experience in eCommerce, with a focus on sales and revenue growth
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful eCommerce strategies
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience managing relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Strong understanding of the eCommerce industry and market trends
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like Lazada, Shopee and other local eCommerce platforms is a plus.
