About the role:

Cloud Operation Engineer

Basic Monitoring

• Leading a team of L1 Cloud Ops Team
• Understand ITSM concepts
• Basic Linux/Windows administration
• Logging (Collection, analysis), Monitoring and alerting
• Basic scripting (Python/Bash)
• Cloud service operations
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitoring tools operation
• Application Architecture design
• Security architecture
• Specific Technology stack (e.g. EKS, Data &
• Analytics, etc) basic understanding
• Medium deep understanding of supporting application architecture knowledge
• Experience with monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog and Dynatrace) is preferred.
• Acknowledge all alarm to customer and stakeholder using various channel.
• Able to analyze alarms that trigged and plan preventive and mitigation.
• Perform 1st layer troubleshooting.

Change Management / Change Request handling

• Experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, Jira etc.
• Experience to prepare Method of Procedure(MOP) before task executed.
• Coordinate for MOP execution plan.
• Prepare the report after MOP executed.

Activities during Incident Handling

• Attending war room at all Event / Incident happened
• Record chronologies of event / incident
• Coordinate with L2 personnel in war room to find out the root caused.

Skillset required.

• Experience with Linux administrator.
• Understanding and experience of supporting AWS Platform
• Troubleshooting skills on AWS platform and its remediations

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience on AWS Infra ops
• Certified in AWS Cloud such as AWS Certified Solution Architect.
• Bachelor degree (as per client requirement)
