Civil Engineer

We're Hiring a Civil Engineer!

We're looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team at Banggai Ammonia Plant (BAP).

This role is responsible for designing and developing civil structures such as buildings, roads, drainage, and marine facilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards.

Work Location: Site Banggai Ammonia Plant, Kabupaten Banggai

Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Civil Lead

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes and standards (national & US standards).
• Proficient in civil engineering software (e.g., StaadPro).
• Training in Project Management is preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to perform physical inspections and work collaboratively in multi-discipline environments.
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Design civil structures including buildings, roads, drainage, and marine structures.
• Prepare cost estimates, time schedules, and engineering calculations.
• Review and provide input on team-prepared designs and drawings.
• Coordinate and support survey activities related to construction and design.
• Collaborate with Civil Supervisors and Inspectors to ensure construction quality.
• Implement and monitor SMK3 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) and SML (Environmental Management System).
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or non-compliance issues.
• Support management with additional civil engineering assignments as required.
