As the
Chief of Talent, you will be the primary architect of the human capital strategy for a prominent Indonesian holding group. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire talent ecosystem across multiple business units, ensuring that the organization has the leadership depth and organizational design required to sustain its market-leading position. You will act as a strategic advisor to the Board, focusing on institutionalizing talent excellence and future-proofing the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. Holding-Level Talent Strategy
- Define and execute a unified talent philosophy across the holding company and its various subsidiaries to ensure consistency in culture and performance standards.
- Align human capital initiatives with the group's long-term commercial goals, specifically focusing on expansion and digital transformation.
- Develop the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract top-tier local and expatriate talent in a competitive landscape.
2. Organizational Design & Mapping
- Lead comprehensive Organizational Mapping to identify structural efficiencies, eliminate redundancies, and ensure optimal reporting lines across the group.
- Design and implement scalable organizational frameworks that support rapid business unit growth and diversification.
- Conduct regular Workforce of the Future audits to identify skill gaps and emerging role requirements.
3. Executive Talent Management & Succession
- Drive the Succession Planning process for C-level and Critical 100 roles across the holding and its business units.
- Oversee the High-Potential (HiPo) identification program, ensuring a robust internal pipeline for leadership transitions.
- Act as an internal executive coach for senior leadership, fostering a culture of continuous development and accountability.
4. Talent Acquisition & Integration
- Direct the executive search function for senior-level hires, ensuring a high-touch and strategic recruitment experience.
- Manage the integration and cultural onboarding of key leadership hires to ensure long-term retention and immediate impact.
5. Performance & Capability Building
- Modernize the performance management framework, moving toward data-driven, continuous feedback loops.
- Oversee the Group Learning & Development (L&D) strategy, focusing on leadership development, technical upskilling, and digital literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years at a Group/Holding level or as a CHRO/Chief of Talent in a large-scale organization (FMCG, Retail, or Conglomerate preferred).
- Expertise: Deep mastery of Organizational Development (OD) and Strategic Talent Mapping.
- Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration (MBA). Global certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are highly regarded.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to use people analytics to drive business decisions and predict talent trends.
- Leadership: Exceptional influence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-layered organizations.
- Language: Native-level fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional excellence in English.
