Head of Engineering / Head of Technology
Our Client is looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Engineering to lead our technology vision, engineering teams, and delivery excellence. This role will be responsible for driving platform scalability, cloud transformation, and operational efficiency while aligning technology with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technology strategy, solutioning, and delivery across all products and platforms.
- Oversee and mentor engineering teams, ensuring high performance, scalability, and quality output.
- Own and manage technical operations, including infrastructure planning, performance, and reliability.
- Drive the transition and modernization of systems within the .NET ecosystem.
- Define and execute Azure cloud strategy, including architecture, deployment, and optimization.
- Manage infrastructure costs and implement cost-optimization strategies without compromising performance.
- Establish best practices in engineering processes, DevOps, security, and system architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
- Take full ownership of the technology function within 3–4 months, including team, systems, and delivery outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in the .NET ecosystem (architecture, development, and modernization).
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud infrastructure, deployment, and scaling.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure management, cloud cost optimization, and system performance.
- Experience in building scalable, high-availability systems and driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
