Job Description

Role Description The Chief Accountant at Coco Development Group will oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. This full-time, on-site role based in Denpasar includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely closing of books. The Chief Accountant will monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership. The role also involves coordinating external audits, maintaining internal controls, supervising and mentoring accounting team members, and collaborating with other departments to align financial practices with business objectives.
Qualifications

Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid competency in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools.
Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance management, and staff development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly preferred.
Prior experience in a senior accounting or finance role, ideally within a corporate or development-focused organization.
