About the Role
The Process Engineer ensures that SCGs manufacturing processes run at peak efficiency, delivering consistent quality while optimizing cost, energy use, and sustainability. With a background in Chemical Engineering, this role involves analyzing, improving, and innovating processes that support SCGs businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze production parameters to maintain process stability and product quality.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for deviations, inefficiencies, or equipment issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce waste, and optimize energy usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, and operations) to execute improvement projects.
- Support trials of new raw materials, fuels, and process technologies.
- Document and standardize operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare reports on process performance, production losses, and continuous improvement results.
- Contribute to SCGs sustainability initiatives through resource efficiency and emission reduction projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 03 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing; strong internships also considered.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data.
- Familiarity with process modeling, statistical tools, or Lean/Six Sigma is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
