Your Role at Cabot

Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Conduct the break down and scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of commitment to personal safety as well as the safety of others, while performing their job effectively.
  • Follow and abide by all Safety Initiatives.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand.
  • Assist in keeping maintenance records.
  • Develop close working relationships with shift supervisor.
  • Oversee monthly physical inventories and cycle counts of spare parts.
  • Instill and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Assist other site employees in plant, as needed.

What You Will Bring To Cabot

  • Diploma/certificate in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum of Two years experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and data base management.
  • Proficient in English both speaking and writing.
  • Independent, mature, friendly, and hard working.
  • Desirable to have experience in computer processing and PC knowledge.
